Ilm 2 Amal
We are dedicated to ensuring all knowledge we share has been stringently checked and confirmed by qualified scholars. Our partnership with the National Zakat Foundation means your Zakat will be distributed to those who need it most within the UK.
Being the third pillar of Islam, the importance of Zakat cannot be overstated. Unfortunately it has become the forgotten pillar, with many not being aware of the rules or its compulsory nature. We are here to simplify the process for you, explain the rulings in easy to understand language and empower you to fulfill your obligation.
Without halal money, everything we do with that money is at risk of not becoming accepted by Allah. As the Prophet (s) said:
“Verily Allah, the Exalted, is pure and accepts only that which is pure.”
Zakat is paid, amongst other reasons, to purify the wealth that we have because, regardless of how much we strive to only accumulate halāl money, some of it will inevitably be tainted.
