Ilm 2 Amal
Our Halal Money campaign is brought to you in partnership with the Al-Qalam Shari‘ah Scholar Panel. Al Qalam was set up to provide authentic advice and guidance on issues relating to money matters such as zakat, sadaqah, Wills and other matters such as investments and legal contracts.
Earning an honest living, avoiding excessive debt, budgeting wisely and spending money in a halal way are all Islamically important, and also make for a prosperous and stable society.
Given the current harsh economic climate, it is more important than ever to understand what it means to live in a halal way.
If you wish to learn more about the importance the Quran places on halal money, our guides, seminars and trained professionals are here to help.
The Prophet (s) said:
“The feet of the son of Adam will not move on the Day of Judgement until he is asked regarding how he earned his wealth and how he spent it.”
Many people are under the misconception that their earnings will be affected if they decide to follow the Shar?’ah and do away with haram earnings, contracts, riba and transactions. In fact, Allah promises us the opposite:
“And whoever fears Allah, for him Allah brings forth a way out, and gives him provision (rizq) from where he does not even imagine…”
(Surah At-Talaq: 2/3)
How much easier will be our meeting with Allah if we know that our transactions and wealth were pure and used in halal ways!
