Maulana Asjad joins the Charitable Trust having graduated from the Shari’ah Institute of Higher Islamic Education based in Holcombe Hall, Bury. He studied traditional Islamic sciences, including Arabic language and literature, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Hadith, Usul al-Hadith, Tafseer and Usul al-Tafseer. Maulana Asjad has since furthered his education in India, studying Hadeeth and Qira’at.

Maulana Asjad has travelled around the USA and has unique experience of working with inmates at some of America’s largest prisons. Whilst in the USA, he was also an Imam at a Masjid in Washington. His experience also extends to working for HMP services in London and Gloucester, and working at Ealing hospital.

At present, Maulana Asjad works as an Imam in Southampton and assists the Charitable Trust in delivering seminars and lectures relating to financial transactions based on orthodox teachings.
