Bashir is actively involved in managing 1st Ethical and focuses his efforts mostly on developing strategy, forging new campaign partnerships, and in mentoring key team members.
Alongside his 1st Ethical commitments, Bashir is a director/shareholder in a number of British businesses, and firmly believes in treating 1st Ethical as another professional venture, albeit one which will generate, God willing, a meta-physical profit.
He supported the launch of the al-Qalam Sharī‘ah Scholar Panel, and successfully lobbied the government for the 2006 White Paper on Trusts to cater appropriately for Islamic Wills.
Bashir is currently developing several new civic engagement related campaigns.
